Select the blog templates
In HubSpot settings, open Content > Blog, choose the intended blog, and use its Templates tab to select the theme's Blog Listing and Blog Post templates separately. These are blog templates, not ordinary page templates. Changing an existing blog's templates can affect its live presentation; preview before applying changes. See HubSpot's blog settings guide.
Posts-per-page belongs to HubSpot blog configuration, not a theme module. The theme uses the native published post collection and previous/next page links; it does not reconstruct the listing from manually entered cards.
Listing content
Each article can show its featured image, publication date, linked title, plain-text summary, author display name, and a read-article link. Missing optional data is omitted. Set the post's summary, author, publication settings, and image in the native blog tools; satisfy any requirements HubSpot applies before publishing.
The listing has fixed introductory copy headed Latest articles and updates. It is not a drag-and-drop introduction field. Changing that wording requires template customization by an implementer. See support and updates.
With no posts, the listing displays No articles available yet. Pagination appears only when the collection spans multiple pages; previous/next links are omitted at the relevant end. There are no built-in filters or topic controls.
Article content
Blog Post displays the native article title and body, with conditional publication date, author, and featured image. Dates use available localized text, with a formatted date fallback. Missing image/metadata fields leave no reserved image or metadata block, although HubSpot may impose publishing requirements independently.
The body preserves authored headings, paragraphs, lists, links, images, blockquotes, tables, embeds, and preformatted/code content. Use one page-level title and begin article sections with appropriate lower-level headings. Supply useful featured-image alt text; body image descriptions are managed in the article editor.
Wide authored tables use local horizontal scrolling with readable minimum cell widths. Check all columns on a small screen and avoid fixed sizing in pasted content that could conflict with the layout. Long code, links, and embedded media also need a mobile review.
These templates do not render comments, social-sharing buttons, tag lists, or related-post suggestions. They do not generate articles or authors.
Before launch, review a populated listing, enough published posts to exercise pagination, an article with sparse optional content where allowed, and an article with a wide table.
